We drove to the end of the tar road, then continued on the dirt road, the onto the very rocky dirt road until that ended. We parked and walked, spotting birds and far-off villages on neighboring hills. At the end, you can see Swaziland unfold under you. And you can even see Mozambique if you know where to look; I did.

But this view is still South Africa, if the very corner; the currently mostly dry Ingwavuma river winds through the valleys between the small hills.
