Y
There’s an odd Y up the street from me at the even odder intersection of Kloof Nek, Burnside, Upper Buitengracht, and New Church in Tamboerskloof (map). I’m sure there’ll be more photos of this intersection to come so stay tuned.
In other news I worked over the weekend to get the shutter speed to display correctly as part of the EXIF data. I haven’t noticed any problems but let me know if you see anything amiss about it.

Did you use a tripod for this shot? If the EXIF data is correct, I’m shocked at how sharp the paving stones are given a 4 second exposure. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to get as sharp a shot if I were holding my camera in my hand – not for that long.
I used a gorilla pod for it, but you can see the camera was oscillating a bit from where I pushed the shutter button. (I didn’t bring my remote along–I will next time.)
