tuck shop

tuck shop

A tuck shop (like a convenience store–they stock Coke, bread, polony, soap and the like-) nearby. This one is particularly awesome in a visual manner.

Perhaps it’s a good time to bring up the fact that I love that you can go to a dirt road in the middle of nowhere in Africa and there’s a Coke sign. Coke really has succeeded with branding in Africa–or at least the parts of Africa that I’ve been.

(Another quick note: I didn’t post yesterday because of a power failure that started in the afternoon and lasted well into the night. So it goes.)
