Back in March 2005, three friends and I went to the wildflower bloom in Death Valley, driving ~20 hours in two days. It was pretty spectacular.

Shot on Velvia. Tweaked a little in Lightroom.

My best friend Andy recently recovered my old, thought-to-be-broken eternal hard drive. It had a large number of old photos on it that I had no other copy of. This is a photo from February 2006 in Playa Del Carmen. I took it on Velvia slide film.

This photo is from forever ago. Probably 2004, in Tom’s Diner on Pittsburgh’s South Side. Taken with Tri-X 400, I believe.
